Click here for a mapSeathwaite Lodge in the heart of the Duddon Valley makes an ideal base for walking, cycling, or touring the west and south lakes.
This comfortably furnished barn conversion has three en-suite rooms available - one double, one twin, and one with a double and a single bed. All rooms have colour TV. A traditional English breakfast awaits you in the morning and pack lunches are available.
The lodge is situated next to the Newfield Inn where good food and a variety of cask ales can be enjoyed all day in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
We have off road parking for vehicles with lockable storage for bicycles and motorbikes.

 Woodend Cottage Click here for a mapSituated in a remote location high up on Birker Fell, 3 miles from Ulpha and with views towards Scafell Pike, Woodend is a haven of peace and tranquility. We currently offer one double room (which has an additional single bed) and the bathroom is not en-suite. However, if any of the other small self catering rental units are available (ie. the bothy or the schoolhouse), guests will be located in one of those which then offers en-suite accomodation. Well behaved pets are welcome, wireless broadband is available. You can come and go at any time to suit you during the day, a traditional English breakfast is available in the morning and evening meals can be provided.
