Duddon Valley Fell Race 5 June 2010
There are two Duddon Valley fell races, the short and the long. They both start and finish near the Newfield Inn in Seathwaite: the long race starts at 11:00 and the short race starts at about 11:20, both races will eventually finish at the pub.

Ulpha and Seathwaite Womens Institute

Meetings commence at 7.30pm, alternating venues with the Browfoot Room, Ulpha and Seathwaite Parish Room. Visitors always welcome.

4th Tuesday except December

ANNUALLY

Browfoot Room Sponsored Walk Sunday
Everyone welcome to partake and help raise funds for maintaining the room
If you haven't any sponsors a donation is most welcome
There are two walks, neither strenuous, but one more of a gentle stroll

Plant and Produce Sale
Sorry due to the renovation of the Browfoot Room this event can't take place this year, but make a note in your diary for next year!!

Usually at the Browfoot Room, Ulpha from 2pm until 4.30pm, £2.50 Adult £1 Child
Your chance to buy local home made produce, and your summer bedding plants, all grown by the greener fingered members of the WI
Entrance fee includes strawberry cream tea

June

Duddon Valley Sports day
behind the Newfield Inn, Seathwaite
Commencing 12.30 pm. Races start 1 pm - 4pm approx
Childrens races, fell race, side stalls (coconut shy, face painting etc.)
Followed by afternoon tea at Seathwaite parish room
All welcome.


September

Ceilidah Saturday look for local posters
at the newly refurbished Browfoot Room
£5.50 for adults £2.50 for children over 5
Ticket price includes hot pot supper

November

Firework Display
at the Newfield Inn

Childrens Fancy Dress
at the Browfoot Room
3-5pm
Everybody welcome

Christmas Fair
